The Second annual VerMilyea reunion was held August, 26th, 1903, at Columbus Park Association grounds, as prearranged September 9, 1902. Boating, fishing, and a bountiful dinner were provided by committee on entertainments, for the 70 members present. This committee of which Mrs. Alice Mead, of Blue Eye, is chairman were instructed to prepare a program of fun for our next meeting, something to make the old people laugh.
The business part of this reunion brought home to each member present many problems for discussion and settlement, problems that make it almost obligatory on every member to be present at the next meeting which by resolutions was arranged for the last Wednesday in August, 1904 at the above mentioned place. Letters were received from several living at a distance expressing regret at their inability to attend, and trusting hopefully to be present a year hence.
Among those present from a distance were Henry Dodge and wife, Indiana, Mrs. Roosa, Fredonia, N. Y.
